Visite guidée de 2h00, il s'agit d'un parcours de 2km à pied sur le site de construction spécialiste des pièces complexes de l'usine "ville" Airbus Atlantic Saint-Nazaire. Cruise ‘At sea with the wind turbines’

France’s first offshore wind farm is located off the coast of Saint-Nazaire. The 'Saint-Nazaire sur Mer' trip takes you along the beaches and cliffs which make the coast in Saint-Nazaire so attractive. After having turned back, the ship sails upstream on the Loire River, past the shipyard and some of the impressive harbour terminals, but also underneath the Saint-Nazaire bridge. A great moment!

Écomusée

Between the Loire estuary and the Atlantic Ocean, the Écomusée traces the maritime, industrial and port history of Saint-Nazaire through its collections. Self-guided tour, approximately 45 minutes. Booking essential.

To continue your visit, the second section of the exhibition is presented at Escal’Atlantic. The Pass Transat’ combines the Écomusée and Escal’Atlantic in a single reservation, at a more advantageous rate than purchasing two separate tickets.

Enquête au Musée

Les professionnels de l'Ecomusée viennent de retrouver les archives d'Henri Vince, un ancien conservateur, et un énigmatique coffre, verrouillé depuis soixante ans. Son carnet personnel contient des énigmes, il est question de Saint-Nazaire... Parviendrez-vous à déchiffrer le code ouvrant le coffre?

Entre art et artisanat, découvrez l’atelier JHP Morta.

Jean Henri et Hélène vous expliquent comment naissent les couteaux et les bijoux qu'ils créent et subliment avec le Morta, un matériau noir comme l'ébène. 

Ils vous racontent comment ce bois vieux de 5000 ans s'est fossilisé dans la tourbe de Brière et, devenu imputrescible, est aujourd'hui utilisé par des artisans qui le façonnent pour faire naitre des pièces uniques. 
Découvrez ce savoir-faire local et les spécificités du métier d'artisan-coutelier. Assistez aux démonstrations des étapes de fabrication des couteaux.

Randonnée urbaine commentée

Idéalement situé près de la côte, le petit hameau rural de Saint-Marc devient "sur mer" à la fin du 19ème siècle. Une bourgeoisie aisée se fait alors construire des villas. Dans les années 1950, la cinéaste Jacques Tati, en Monsieur Hulot, immortalisera la cité balnéaire dans un premier rôle au charme familial.

A new market hall was built in 1958. The architect Claude Dommée designed a reinforced concrete building meeting the consumers’ needs while being integrated into the architecture of the square, which is a symbol of the reconstruction of Saint-Nazaire.
